Howard Kurtz goes "negative" on Edwards

"On Thursday, Edwards spokeswoman Jennifer Palmieri shot back.

" 'It is ironic that somebody who made hundreds of thousands of dollars lobbying the Bush administration and changed his positions on numerous issues would now accuse others of acting like Washington politicians,' Palmieri said in a statement, referring to Clark."

Ah, so it wasn't Edwards himself! Here's what the senator had to say: "This is the kind of petty sniping that people are sick of."

By the way, what's so horribly negative about pointing out that a senator cast two votes with which you disagree? Isn't that what campaigns are about?
