Demonstrators opposed to the Right-Wing views of William kristol and Pat Buchanan offered the conservatives more than they could chew.
On Tuesday at Earlham liberal arts College,
William kristol, co-Founder and Chairman of the
Project for the New American Century, editor of
The Weekly Standard, and former chief of staff to Vice President Quayle, was rudely interrupted while delivering a speech on the subject of U.S. foreign policy.
The interruption occurred when an Earlham student ran up to Kristol and tossed an ice cream pie into his face.
Kristol's reply "Just let me finish this point," after he wiped the mess off of his face with a paper towel, the Palladium-Item reported.
The college of approximately 1,200 students is well-known for its peace studies program.
Thursday, Pat Buchanan, political pundit and former presidential candidate, was attending a program at Western Michigan University when a demonstrator shouting "Stop the bigotry" doused Buchanan with salad dressing.
Buchanan's appearance fell on the birthday of the late Mexican-American labor leader Cesar Chavez. The actions delivered by the 24-year-old man was motivated by Buchanan's immigration views.
