A lot of people have suggested that if Shrub is to be impeached, we should get Cheney, Condi and Rumsfeld as well. I've done a little research in it and wanted to let everyone know of my findings.
Cheney, as hard as it is to believe, is only guilty of two impeachable offenses arising from that memo--conspiring with Blair, and directing the falsification of evidence supposedly supporting war with Iraq.
I've already proposed articles of impeachment against Rummy in a previous diary--but as I see it, he's guilty of making false statements to Congress, conspiring with Blair and falsifying evidence.
Sadly, Condi may escape impeachment. She's guilty of a laundry list of offenses--but nearly all of them took place while she was National Security Advisor. Since that office is not subject to Senate confirmation, it's going to be very problematic to impeach her. Articles of impeachment against Cheney and Rumsfeld follow below.
