Now the info from my source closer to the folks who know what's going on in the Dean campaign on the state of the $$$...

The TRUTH is (as Dean likes to say) that the Dean campaign has $5 million cash on-hand. True, they (the official campaign) spent a TON in Iowa and NH, but it's also true that we HAD a ton to begin with. So we're not "broke" and we're not "in the red," as other campaigns have been wishfully pushing to reporters, hoping for a self-fulfilling prophecy. And we have raised over 2.5 million since Iowa, including a million since NH. I say "nice try."
