Saddam/bin Laden

Everyone all over the blogosphere seems to be shook up over the parts of a so called leaked memo (connecting Saddam and bin Laden) that has appeared in the Weekly Standard magazine and on Fox TV. Has anyone heard any prominent Democrats or Republicans respond to the claimed connections between Saddam and bin Laden? This should not be allowed to pass without a rebuttal. Why aren't Levin and Rockefeller making any statements before people start to believe it? Even if their knowledge is classified they should find a way to respond somehow. The Democratic Party needs a rapid response team now! Has anyone seen this topic reported on the mainstream news or radio?
