Why the Press and Legacy Media are Hurting Themselves

Why can't the press and corporate media understand that when people flip on the boob tube or pick up a paper they want to quickly understand the truth.  At the very least if facts and truth can't be easily picked up from the media/press what is the point.
Why does the press always give 50/50 views if  one side is lying.

Social Security "reform" is one of those issues that is not being portrayed as the disater that it is.

How many people who support SS reform probably have no idea what an IRA or Roth Ira is?

shouldn't the media somewhere  at least mention "ownership society" type mechanisms that currently exist?
