Chris Gates getting sacked as Colorado Democrat State Chair??

I went to the JeffCo Dems Central Committee meeting tonight supporting Mike Miles. There were approximately 200 people there, and easily 30 to 40 of them were Miles supporters. Pretty amazing.

But what really got my attention was when Julia Hicks spoke about the State Committee meeting this coming Saturday. She said it would be "very interesting." Several of the people I talked to speculated that Chris Gates, the current State Chair will face a vote of no confidence and get sacked. A lot of people are really irritated with Chris because he went outside the democratic process to recruit Rutt Bridges.

I wish I was able to go, but I work Saturdays. Oh well . . .
