Dear Mr. Kerry,
I heard that on the Imus show, you flatly denied any reports that you might have engaged in an affair. While I commend your desire to get in front of this story, I also remember your flat denials of botox injections, which frankly makes me concerned about your relationship with honesty.
Sir, only you (and perhaps a few reporters) know the true nature of your relationship with this young woman. IF these rumors are true, you are also well aware of the fact that this story will eventually come out, effectively eliminating your chances of capturing the Presidency. You may argue that Bill Clinton was able to become President while fending off bimbo eruptions, but the nation still hasn't settled down from that debacle, and they certainly won't vote for another candidate who shows a proclivity for the same behavior.
There is still time to do the right thing for the Democratic Party and the American people. If you drop out now, someone else will capture the nomination. It may dash your dreams, but at this point you must take into consideration the greater good of our country.
We, the people of The United States of America, want a change. This time, it's more than just the Dems vs. the Repubs. Independents, third party members, and non-political types have all spoken in a unified voice at the polls. Their message is undeniable - we want change from the ill-planned and misleading administration that currently occupies the White House. Please know that regardless of who wins the most votes in a particular poll, we want change. We need change. We DEMAND change.
Don't blow this for us. If you know that you have issues that will make you unelectable, do the right thing. Drop out, and clear the way for someone without baggage to take up this cause.
When you were a soldier, you put your life on the line in defense of democracy. You were willing to sacrifice everything for a greater good, and for that you have the gratitude of millions of Americans. At this time, the American people need you more than ever to make the right choice.
An entire nation calls out. Do not silence our voices.
