Bloggers at DNC convention

There is interest amongst individuals inside Democratic Party circles to do something special for bloggers at the Democratic Party convention.

Handing out press passes to bloggers is a no-brainer, and something we could easily get from the DNC. However, we want to go one better, in effect putting together a convention-within-a-convention for left-leaning bloggers.

The idea is but a seed right now, so I'm opening it up for suggestions. Bloggers have and will continue to play a role in this election cycle. We want to highlight that role and celebrate what we, as a medium, have accomplished.

So you bloggers out there -- what would you like to see at the convention? What would get you to invest in attending such an event?
