Kerry Challenges bush to Debate Vietnam

Truthout has posted a letter from Kerry to the Bush campaign, challenging the president to a debate on the Vietnam War. A couple of the juicier lines:

If you want to debate the Vietnam era, and the impact of our experiences on our approaches to presidential leadership, I am prepared to do so.

This is not a debate to be distorted through your $100 million dollar campaign fund. This is a debate that should be conducted face to face.

While I believe continuing the Vietnam debate is of little value in this election, I would enjoy seeing this particular debate.
