Let's try to embarass CA Sec of State to act on Diebold hacking news

The Miami Herald hacking story referenced in the earlier diary provides a credible springboard for trying to embarass Bruce McPherson into action.  Let all of us Kossacks in CA rise up and do so, and encourage those on other blogs to do so.  Reference the Miami Herald story (http://www.miami.com/...) and reference the USA Today story(http://www.usatoday.com/...)
and call (McPherson gives no fax or email contact info that I can find) at

and

and tell them that ``Given reports in the Miami Herald and USA Today on the extreme vulnerability of Diebold electronic voting machines and central tabulators to hacking and potential electoral fraud, ther must be open public tests prior to any recertification of Diebold machines for use in California. '

Let's do it!

ANd I agree with other posters that we ought to go after Ohio also!
