Where is C&L??!!

I don't really have much to say except: Where the hell is Crooks & Liars?

If you go to www.crooksandliars.com you get a site for some company called ZIA.

Has the NSA or the DOJ pulled down the site? Kidding, of course... but I wouldn't be surprised!

In any case, it's one of my favorite sites and it seems to have disappeared. Anybody know what's going on?

I need to have at least 300 words for a diary, so I'll take up the rest of this with some good eats.

Apple and Goat Cheese Omelette

    * Half apple, peeled, cored, and cut into thin slices
    * 1 tbs butter
    * 1/2 tbs of brown sugar
    * 2-3 oz goat cheese
    * 2 eggs
    * salt and pepper to taste

Melt butter over medium heat, add apples and brown sugar and cook until apples are tender.

Meanwhile, beat eggs, add salt and pepper. Put eggs in pan over medium/med-high heat.

When eggs are close to setting, add apples and goat cheese on one side, flip over other half, and cook until inside of omelette has firmed up.

Serve with a fruity India Pale Ale or Belgian, such as Brooklyn IPA or Celis Grand Cru.
