# 1 Reason Lieberman was defeated (Discussion)

Why was Joe Lieberman defeated?  What events philosophy, or ideology of Joe's finally motivated the progressives in CT to marshal the forces necessary to oust him?

I have an answer.

Joe simply does not respect the will of his constituents.  

Evidence of this fact is clearly revealed in his inability to accept the will of CT democrats.  The very body of people who put him forth as their candidate for three terms.
