dailyKos as an advice-column?

I've got to do some business this weekend in a public setting with one of the main architects of the recent republican redistricting power-grab in the Texas legislature.

In the past, while I didn't agree with this person's politics, we were civil towards one another.

Now, I don't think I can even be civil towards this person and I'm actually a little fearful that my feelings about this person's role in these political shenanigans will lead me to say or do something that might hurt the business I share with my partners.
