Liberals used to be wildly supportive of democratic revolutions, overthrowing evil dictators, and generally doing good for the world. Is that not what we have accomplished, at least in part, in Iraq? I mean, Saddam destroyed a lot of people and he hurt countless Iraqi citizens by placing their relatives in vast fields of human graves. And yet, why did liberals react, post-Saddam capture, with indifference, and even anger? I know defeating Bush is our number one goal, but can't we be happy for the Iraqi people and hopeful for them. All I ever here around here is how the Iraqi's are gonna pay for being rid of Hussein.
A little more optimism, huh?
