Here's the question to ask Bush on Miers

"Mr. President, you said that you wanted to appoint another Thomas or Scalia.  But you also said that you've never discussed the issue of abortion with Ms. Miers.

"Does this mean that if Ms. Miers decides, once on the Court, that Roe v. Wade is settled law and must be upheld, that you will still be satisfied with having nominated her?  If so, do you think that the Republicans in the Senate agree with you?  If not, why didn't you choose someone whose views on abortion are known?"
