Do you remember the good old days when John Kerry, in the wake of Gore, Bradley, and Harkin's endorsements of Dean, said that endorsements didn't matter and that the people would decide for themselves who the best candidate was?
Well apparently, like on so many other issues, Kerry has changed his mind and is now bragging about his endorsement record (like his special interest record, yeah... right).
As John Kerry campaigns non-stop across the country for tomorrow's primaries, he has been picking up valuable campaign endorsements, including Washington Senator Maria Cantwell, New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer, and Colorado Congressman Mark Udall.
And three labor unions also endorsed John this week, the Sheet Metal Workers' International Association (SMWIA), the Retail, Wholesale and Department Store Union (RWDSU), and the National Treasury Employees Union(NTEU).[...]
That was pulled from the fourth post down on the Kerry Blog, which received 148 comments.
So, John, if endorsements don't matter then why do you have a page dedicated to listing your endorsements and counting out your superdelegates? Why have 5 out of the last 7 posts on your o-so-active Blog been about endorsements?
If someone can explain it I would really appreciate the help.
