Making our own award. Why? Why not?!

What better way to show our appreciation for speaking truth to power than to send a trophy? I say several, but what the hell. I say send anyway. Since pretty much all of us here loved the man and the movie, why not make our own damn award in his name?

Now, We can't call it the Edward R. Murrow award. They have that. I'll let you decide in the poll what we should call it. I think twice a year, April 1st and maybe New Years day. We pick one television news anchor and one radio host. I will pay for the trophy for each person we pick. It will be cheap, of course. Please include your pick for "the t.v." and "radio" nominees in the comments section. Also, if you could make suggestions on what the trophy should look like. I would prefer no plaques. Maybe a bowler or some nonsense. My nominees for the first awards are Keith Olbermann and Amy Goodman. I bet keith would air it on his show! And now.....the poll
