Here's a thought to ponder --

We've all noticed Dean playing it safe and quiet over the leadup to New Hampshire.

But what happens if, on Monday afternoon, just in time to make the evening newscasts but without enough time for the pundit cycle to turn and stab him with it, he serves up a big ol' helping of shitkicking, surge-inducing, New Hampshire Surprise-making Classic Howard?

If he loses NH, the media will use it to write his obits, but if he loses NH, the media will be writing his obits anyway. And if he wins, he's killed the angry meme forever, or at least for the duration of the primary campaign.

Really -- what does he have to lose?
