Based on a 15% showing in the
latest Newsweek poll (giving him a chunk of the delegates from states w/ no state polls for the first time since the week of his announcement), Clark takes a 216 delegate lead over Dean.
In addition to his national showing, he also has leads in California, Wisconsin, and South Carolina, such that he gets 100% of the delegates of those states. He also gets a little less than 50% of NJ's 128 delegates, sharing them w/ Lieberman, and shares PA's 178 delegates w/ Kerry.
My gut instinct tells me that the next CA and WI polls may reduce his numbers there somewhat, and bring Dean back into first, this shows a much tighter race than the media is reflecting, and points to a possible brokered convention!
