CURIOSITY will eventually kill the neocons
Well, we had a brief glorious father’s day weekend when AP, USA Today, MSNBC, & ABC (among other MSM)
broke-through and provided us with front-page coverage of The Downing Street Minutes and Briefings.
How sweet it was!
Now comes the really hard part -- Keeping the DSM in the spotlight until George W. Bush is impeached. Already, there have been popular publications dismissing The Downing Street Memos as "old news" and pretending that there is "nothing to see here". Of course, anyone who reads the minutes and briefings of the high-ranking goverment officials knows that this, indeed, is a smoking gun to impeach the President of the United States.
Are the minutes on the minds of most Americans so that impeachment is a political necessity? I’m not convinced that they are.
Here lies the problem.
What can we do to achieve this goal? What can we, as enlightened citizens, do to make the truth spread like wildfire?
Well, I was inspired by a snowho, here at Daily Kos, to start a campaign focused on this issue. His idea was so simple. At the very least, it will wake the American sheeple up and ask the question: "What the hell is Downing St.?" Ahhhh, curiosity! And, if this campaign takes off -- curiosity will, indeed, kill the neocons -- for the truth is on our side.
But, but...
You shouldn't "litter!"
You shouldn't "vandalize!"
You shouldn't "break the law!"
ANSWER:
If you believe that posting a "yard sale" sign on a city street sign is morally irresponsible, then perhaps you shouldn't participate.
If you believe a little bit of harmless civil disobedience is warranted here, then this may be your cup of tea.
I'll let you make that choice.
Doesn't seem that controversial to me, though.
REMEMBER: Just don't hide the actual street name on the sign.
