Senator Jon Corzine will be running for NJ Governor...so the question is who would fill his seat, assuming he wins. I nominate Kristin Breitweiser...one of the "Jersey girls"....those brave and articulate women whose husbands were killed in the WTC and who led the fight to create the 9/11 Commission, among other things. Breitweiser has been the most prominent on TV, and she has all the makings of being a great Democratic candidate and Senator: articulate, smart, tough, telegenic...she only needs to smooth out that streaked hair-do. She can pitch herself as a ordinary woman, thrust into public limelight by an attack that she wished had never taken place, but still she stepped up to the plate...and the Dems would have a tough, common-sense, non-lawyer advocate for the ordinary person in the Senate. Do you agree?
