Heading to Kentucky

Kicking Ass (the DNC's blog) has pictures of volunteers saddling up for their DC to Kentucky trip.

The polls give us a narrow lead, with the trends in Chandler's favor. The Chandler campaign has been able to spend more money than expected thanks -- in large part -- to the generosity of the blog community.

But this one ain't over. And by all rights, it's not a seat in which we should even be competitive. So a Dem victory would say something.

As expected, the Republicans don't want to receive the "message" a Chandler victory would send. Mitch McConnel doesn't want to hear it. Bush doesn't want to hear it. Rove doesn't want to hear it. Delay doesn't want to hear it.

So we've got to make sure they not only get that message, but they hear it good and loud. It's not to late to help out.
