There must really be blood in the water, because the White House has managed to blame Clinton for the O'Neill revelations. The spin is now that "regime change" as policy began under Clinton and that any pre-911 planning for Iraq invasion was simply a continuation of Clinton's policy.

Interesting to note that Frum, who once described Bush as "impatient and quick to anger; sometimes glib, even dogmatic; often uncurious and as a result ill informed" and made a good deal of money on his memoir "The Right Man" is criticizing O'Neill for doing the same.
