From WaPO - "Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) said Friday that he is tired of having his commitment to national security questioned by Republicans who never served in the military. He singled out Vice President Cheney and White House senior adviser Karl Rove by name, saying they "went out of their way to avoid" service during the Vietnam War. . . ."

I called for this here -

In my new status as Kerry "adviser," let me tell you another thing I liked about the attack - he called out Cheney and Rove, not Bush.
Why? Because he didn't allow the GOP to say he denigrated the National Guard. And, an important and -- he implies that Bush does what Cheney and Rove tell him to do. That Bush is out of touch, not in charge, not credible.
Now, I don't know who crafted this response, but he deserves an hour of free time as reward - then get back to work because she/he know what they are doing.
