The Flying Spaghetti Monster (FSM), a creation of Bobby Henderson.

The short story is that touring board member
Connie Morris was offended by the picture of the living pasta dish and requested that Stucky Middle School principal Kenneth Jantz order Mousley to remove the image.
Not all members of the Kansas board shared this opinion and in fact, more sensible board member Sue Gamble reminded Jantz that the decision to remove the picture was an internal school matter and not the decision of the board or any of its members.
