Matthews: Republicans are RACIST (MORE - Bush)

Standing ovation for Chris Matthews who labeled the Bush/Cheney/Rove campaign against Harold Ford, RACIST.

This stands in stark contrast to the pitiful gutlessness of Howard Fineman (Newsweek), who could only manage to say, "well, Harold Ford had to know this was coming."  

Bravo, Howard Fineman.  

I imagine in 1964 you would have stated: "well, Goodwin, Cheney, and Schwerner had to know this was coming."

Will anyone in national press corp have the spine to ask Secretary Rice, Michael Steele, Colin Powell and Ken Blackwell for their opinions on Mehlman/Rove's racist ad ??

The White House is pushing this talking point (from today's presser): "Democrats are dancing in the end zone."

watch the clip on tonight's news, Bush looks down at his crib sheet as he says "dancing in the end zone."  In other words, it was focus group tested talking point.

Now who comes to mind when one thinks "dancing in the end zone?"  Another kossack thought of Bill "White Shoes" Johnson, the Ickey Shuffle, and the 1981 "Fun Bunch."  They're all black (SURPRISE).
