HOLY COW!
I'm a big football fan, checking out the stats for my favorite teams at espn.com and saw a weird link on the monday night football home page...
barack ombama: MNF, behind the scenes...
My jaw drops, cause at the end of it Obama says.
I would like to announce, to my home town of Chicago, and to all of America...(scene stops)
Wow....just plain wow...
I think it'd be an excellent idea if it was being broadcast on a major, but Monday night football doesn't have the reach now that's on ESPN.
Not everybody has cable you know...although I'm sure it will be on every News outlet tomorrow if this is the case. If he doesn't, and it's just a teaser of an intro for monday night football, it might be even better. You know, get everybody and their grandmother wondering. However, I did also notice that one of his staffers does say something along the lines of "this is living history"
...things that make you go hmmmm...
what do you think? Here is the link...(sorry it's not direct...go to MNF: behind the scenes)

UPDATE:
Well, it appears that he is NOT according to the political wire.
HatTip to JJ32 in the comments...
Political Wire
Still, interesting buzz generating idea to do this. First Oprah, now this...However, considering that he is purposely generating the buzz for this, does this mean he is running...or is just "testing the water"?
