Sebelius continues the fundraising magic in the State of Kansas, even with no primary for her to worry about. It is quite amazing how much money Sebelius is raising in a traditionally Republican State.
The
Topeka Capital Journal comes out with the story that Sebelius continues her rampant fundraising and could possibility approach 4.2 million by November 7th.
If her campaign maintained the same $10,800-a-day fundraising pace until the Nov. 7 general election, her total contributions would top $4.2 million.
In comparison, as the article points out, the Republican candidate (Barnett), only raised 10,000 in over 3 days.
Clearly this will be a breeze of an election for Sebelius with plenty of money left over for, after her term is over, to run for a Senate position when Brownback steps down from his seat.
