Blogger / Campaigner Ethics

I have my own blog, and am helping with a write-in campaign.

I'm wondering if there are any ethical concerns if I blog on my own site about the campaign and the campaigning process.

Seems like there shouldn't be, but, right now, I'm a major source of assistance for the campaign. Certainly I wouldn't want to torpedo the campaign, and that would never be my intent.

But I'd sure like to blog about the campaigning process.

And yes, I do need to talk with the candidate regarding this. If the candidate is not comfortable with it, then it's a fait accompli.
