Juan Cole has picked up the AP report Bush doesn't see longtime presence in Iraq. `If free and open Iraqi elections lead to the seating of a fundamentalist Islamic government, "I will be disappointed. But democracy is democracy,"'. Broadcast media completely ignored the goof.

The "War on Terror" is a battle against Islamic Fundamentalists. President Bush just welcomed a huge strategic defeat for the United States in the War on Terror. His Administration so believes its own lies and spin that he can't even conceptualize or admit to the disasters that they have inflicted on the USA.
