Any photographers/PR/psych people out there?

I've noticed that Shrub's photos generally have a red wash (warm) and Kerry's generally have a blue wash (cold). But, today's photos on CNN show Kerry with a yellow wash. What the hell is that all about? And does it do any good to take general domain pix of Shrub and apply a blue wash to him? I mean PR/psychology-wise...
