House GOP Leaders Draft Bill Rejecting Calls for Pullout From Iraq

The AP is reporting that:

House Republican leaders drafted legislation on Thursday that rejects calls for withdrawal of U.S. forces from Iraq as "fundamentally inconsistent with achieving victory" and said they would force a vote on Friday.

This is a very dangerous political approach by the GOP. The Democrats really need to run with this one, and use it against the Republicans. The fact is that most Americans want us out of Iraq. But I suspect that the "Democratic Leadership" in Congress will cowardly go along with this. Prove me wrong guys and gals...prove me wrong.
