To the Un-Honorable, Robin Hayes
You like so many others we have trusted with the welfare of the country, you have sold us out to the corporate enmity, that holds you in their pocket. You told the American public that when you saw the empty mills in the town of Kannapolis, and the hardship that it brought upon the people you serve, you just couldn't vote for another bill that would take the jobs like NAFTA did, but you did. and CAFTA is now a reality.

One hour into what should have been a 15 minute vote, a vote that would have been a humiliating loss for President Bush, on the CAFTA agreement, things took a surprising turn.
Rep. Robin Hayes, Rep. of North Carolina, struck a deal with
Speaker Denis Hastert . Hastert told Hayes that China would be watched closely by the GOP in the textile area, were China posses the biggest threat.
You might ask, why when others voted on CAFTA should I focus on Rep. Robin Hayes N.C. Rep., well I will tell you. The bases are loaded, and mighty Casey is at bat, and the score is tied 216 to 216, and he struck a deal with the other side, and jobs will be lost. As my friend Snafu would say, "This country is dumb enough to sell the rope, to hang its self."
In a telephone interview with the Washington Post Thursday, Rep. Robin Hayes said he had voted no when the clock ran out on CAFTA late Wednesday night, with the measure apparently headed to a 214-210 defeat. That's when House Speaker Dennis Hastert asked if Hayes was willing to switch."They came to me and said, 'Negotiations are open. Put on the table the things that your district and people need, and we'll get them,'" Hayes said.
Well lets look at it this way, of the 217 supporters of the bill, 202 were Republicans and 15 were Democrats. The democrats that voted for the Bush agenda, faced little or no pressure from the administration. On the other hand the Republicans that voted against it faced great pressure from the White House.
CAFTA will destroy the American farmers, and workers, while plunging the Central American people deeper into poverty, and cause more Latin Americans to migrate to the USA, in search of jobs.
So as I see it that the 15 Democrats that voted to back the Bush agenda, are not humane in the thoughts, or at the least, this suggests that the Bush Democrats -- Melissa Bean of Illinois, Jim Cooper of Tennessee, Henry Cuellar of Texas, Norm Dicks of Washington, Ruben Hinojosa of Texas, William Jefferson of Louisiana, Jim Matheson of Utah, Gregory Meeks of New York, Dennis Moore of Kansas, Jim Moran of Virginia, Solomon Ortiz of Texas, Ike Skelton of Missouri, Vic Snyder of Arkansas, John Tanner of Tennessee, and Edolphus Towns of New York -- are on the wrong side of history, and of humanity.
Of course that's just me, and I am : ABA607
ps. Let's find out when these non- representatives, come up for reelection and kick their, non- representing butts out of office!
