Democrats support of fringe issues cost them the election

The Democratic party has long thought itself the bastion of the unfortunate. Over the last two elections, it has continued to shoot itself in the foot. There are a number of Democrats who are not pro-abortion, but who get lumped in with those that do. We allow the Republican party to continue to use abortion as a national issue, and win with it. It may be time for leadership that moves the party forward without being labeled as pro-abortion, etc..
