Huh. You think?
According to this Reuters article here, the military is actively trying to bypass the influence of parents when it comes to brainwashing recruiting young people for George Bush's missions of genocide.
(Note especially the derogatory nod towards "generational" differences by David Chu; it can't occur to him that no one wants to fight for Bush and wouldn't do so even if Islamic hordes were marching down Pennsylvania Avenue.)
Now correct me if I'm wrong, but when liberals try to "bypass" parental influence on matters of abortion rights and rights of gay teens, they're accused by conservatives of violating the inviolable relationship between parent and child. How much do you want to bet that when the military states as policy its intention to bypass parental guidance, no conservative will speak up in defense of the family?
Honestly, won't somebody think of the children?
