They complain about the Ten Commandments not being put everywhere. Why? Most don't even abide by them! They complain about the lies, and corruption that came from the Clinton administration, why? They stay silent where George W. Bush and his administration are concerned! They complain that "liberals" are so full of hate but they are the ones who opt to go murder innocent Muslims in Iraq. They are the ones who bomb abortion clinics. They are the ones who judge thy neighbor, which by the way goes against the holy book that they pretend to follow. False Christians.
We have heard talks about how faith based programs are a great thing for America, and Americans. Again, this is George W. Bush pushing an agenda that is not in the best interest of all Americans! There is a reason there is a wall between church and state. No wonder Christians are persecuted, we have people such as these in huge numbers giving the ones who try to live right a very bad name!!!
The Star Tribune reported a story pertaining to the content of this diary entry.
Then the county brought another client to the conservative Missouri Synod church: a woman who had begun life as a man.
The church refused to let her in. The county refused to send any more clients.
The height of hypocrisy! No surprise of course to many I am sure. No surprise to me either. The faith base initiative that was put in place NEEDS removed! Government and religion isn't to be mixed. Rebuild the wall is the first thing I want done! Second, this particular church should be shut down for not following the laws of the holy book. I mean they condemn anyone who doesn't live the religious life. They have condemned that one person who they had turned away. I believe it is time for them to be condemned in return. If they were not allowed to continue the hypocrisy perhaps it would solve many problems.
This particular church group is making it tough for the real churches and church groups out there that are trying to do the good work to help people of all kinds who actually need help keep a good name. (one rotten apple destroys the bunch comes to mind) Close their doors immediately I say! They aren't in the "church business" to do the good work of "God" obviously. They are in it for another agenda. Political?? Hmm...what would have made someone think that? The money possibly...
The question is what would God do? That is a modern slogan they love to use. They even make loads of profits off t-shirts that have WWJD on them, go figure!
"constant friction between men of depraved mind and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain.... But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. But flee from these things, you man of God, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness." (Timothy 6:5, 9-11.)
I know the bible is full of many contradictions but the main objective I derive from the book myself is to live good. Live in peace, spread love, give to a man who has less, love your neighbor, the Ten commandments are a pretty descent group of standards to live by in my opinion. I am not a full-blown Christian. I don't attend church every day, every week; I haven't attended church in a very long time, due to the hypocrisy in most that I have attended. I privately do my own thing and I still ask questions, I don't have all the answers, but I do know this much. God wouldn't want any man/woman turned away for any reason if they are in need of help.
"Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves." Matthew 7:15
I certainly see George W. Bush as a wolf in sheep's clothing myself. How about you? What about all those "Christians" who claim to be his loyal followers? I see them the same way. I also think they are very dangerous to those who want to "believe". They are dangerous to those who seek answers. They are dangerous for those who seek meaning as well. What shall come of all this? I say war upon war. Just so we are clear that last comment about war upon war has NOTHING to do with "prophecy" either.
"But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who provably shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingered not, and their damnation slumbered not." Peter 2:1-3
I always refer to this last verse myself when I hear of these types of news stories concerning the church or the "Christians".
"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." John 4:1
To those who are the wolves masquerading as sheep, God will damn you!
