Wesley Clark drew his largest crowds to date in New Hampshire
on Sunday as the campaign moved into nonstop mode for Tuesday's
primary in New Hampshire. Fire marshalls had to turn away people
at some of the stops. In the wee hours of the morning on Monday,
Clark will begin a marathon tour of all 10 counties in New
Hampshire that will last from 6AM to Midnight as the campaign
prepares for a massive GOTV effort on Tuesday.
On Tuesday night Clark will attend the election night party in
New Hampshire as the results come in. During the wee hours he
will fly to South Carolina to join supporters gathered for the
free Carolina Countdown Concert in Columbia featuring Blues
Traveler and will formally launch his campaign for the the
February 3 states in the South and West where he has strong post
Iowa poll numbers. Clark plans to compete in all of the February
3 states which include South Carolina, Missouri, Oklahoma, North
Dakota, New Mexico, and Arizona. The Clark campaign already has
offices open and a large pool of supporters in each of those
states. It appears Clark's latest fundraising challenge of $2
million may again be met early based on the latest numbers which
show it just short of the $2 million mark.
"My experience is the experience of leadership, of
setting goals and organizing teams, of bringing people together,
motivating and inspiring and making tough decisions...The
presidency is about doing, not debating...It's about taking
action, not taking assessments," Clark said. "It's
about making decisions on issues of national significance and
international significance and life and death.
