According to ABC's "The Note":
"Fully 60%, including one-fourth of Republicans, say Democrats in Congress should make sure Bush and his party 'don't go too far.' Just 34% want Democrats to "work in a bipartisan way" to help pass the president's priorities."
The poll was done by the Wall Street Journal, and is available for subscribers, but The Note has the info about 3/4 of the way down the page.
This is nothing but good news for Dean, and should finally shut up all those Republican media drones about "Dean makes Democrats uncomfortable." EVEN 25% OF REPUBLICNAS WANT SOMEONE TO STAND UP TO BUSH!!!! Many moderate Republicans don't really want an unchecked administration, even though they may lean Republican.
Also, let us use this poll as evidence that our fellow Dems must not only stand up to Bush, but stand up for Dean when he is getting attacked in the MSM. The corporate media has been hounding Dean lately for his "liberalism" and how much he makes Dems feel uncomfortable.
