Tonight, I will be working on mashing together all of the movies I took today. But for now, here are a few images from today's Immigration March (actually, then end of the route) and Rally on the Mall in Washingto, DC.
Update 3:13 UTC - Sui Juris'
DC March - ¡Sí, Se Puede! Yes, We Can! is about to fall off the (50) Recent Diaries list, posted two hours earlier than mine. It primarily links to the accompanying
flick images.
You may download all of the images
as a zip file if preferred.
My frist pic and I'm already breaking the law. The crowd at the Metro station was so big, I went to snap a couple of shots - Only to have a guard threaten to call the police. Oops.
Crowds wearing white and carrying their American flags. I was concerned the sticks would be construed as weapons by law enforcement.
You couldn't ask for a nicer day...
Too late to form up for the March, more make their way to the Rally.
One group, with the White House off in the distance.
A wave of protesters turning the final corner before proceeding on to the Mall.
Down in the crowd...

Un Immigrante.

In the shadow of the Rally, the children let the adults worry about adult things...

Slowly working my way to the stage...

And that's it until tomorrow morning whan I can put together the vids.
