John Dean has suggested that the Rev. Pat Robertson may be in a heap of trouble -
that is, unless IOKIYAR.
In this Findlaw.com article, posted on truth.org, Esquire Mr. Dean cites 18 United States Code, Section 875(c), which states: "Whoever transmits in interstate or foreign commerce any communication containing any threat to kidnap any person or any threat to injure the person of another, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both."
Mr. Dean goes on to say that this apparent crime was committed in the jurisdiction of the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals, which has strictly interpreted the statue and upheld serveral convictions where there is evidience that the target of the threat had reason to believe that it was a serious attempt to intimidate.
