I couldn't believe it when I read in a blog entry somewhere that Bush actually referred to his National Guard service in a recent speech, but it's true.

More proof that the man has no shame whatsoever.

It's one thing to have had some wild times in one's life. I'm not going to disparage people who want to serve their country and who come clean about what they've done and how they changed. Bush has done a bit of this, but not only has he left out the whopper of his daddy-assisted advancement and eventual disappearance from TX Air National Guard duty he actually brags about his service, as in the speech today -- or more offensively, the obscenity that led to THIS.

He's sending men and women to die because Iraq might have attacked us at any moment because Saddam was funding the terrorists that attacked us on 9/11 because he wants to establish democracies throughout the Middle East. When is he ever going to get called to answer (with follow-up questions!) for his hypocrisy?
