As most of you have heard by now, a Richter 6.2 earthquake struck central Iran yesterday. Reports are coming in that several villages have been destroyed, with about 200 dead so far. It's expected that some amount of international aid, including assistance from groups in the United States, will be given to the the people in the area.
With humanitarian relief on the ground in Iran, a valid question to ask would be whether the Bush Thuggee Cult plans to continue its hardline policy against Iran given its ambitions in nuclear electrical power, or whether they'll back down in the face of such a crisis.
This is just a thought, so feel free to contribute your ideas and any nuggets of news you may find in regards to this unfortunate incident.
