So, is it the idea - of Rove, who else? - to get everyone talking about Social Security so that they'll ignore, not hear about or forget about all the other egregious things that the Bushies want to push through on the domestic front?
Just today, I read in the New York Times that Republicans were successful in their efforts to have class action suits tried only in federal courts and not in state courts. And now, via the Washington Post, we find that they are trying to get the law changed so that it will be harder for consumers to get credit card debt wiped out through bankruptcy.
The Republicans might be thinking that fighting these initiatives and others all at once could prove to be a daunting task for an opposition party that often finds it a daunting task to fight even one initiative. Perhaps they are trying to bowl us over with all this Social Security stuff? After all, figuring out and debunking all the lies coming from the Republicans on this issue is a time-consuming process. Well, I think the Republicans are wrong on this if that is indeed what they are thinking.
C'mon everyone. Lets prove them wrong.
