Obama was forced to apologize for saying that people in Pennsylvania may be bitter?* Oh, FFS. I canNOT believe the insanity over this issue.
NEWSFLASH: PEOPLE IN THE ENTIRE U.S.A. ARE BITTER.
And angry! And scared! And maybe hoping to be optimistic once we get Bush out of the White House. But right now? Gas is approaching $4/gal, food prices are climbing, adjustable rate mortgages are coming due and skyrocketing, and jobs are going elsewhere.
ANYONE saying "ohhh no, Pennsylvanians (or Americans) aren't scared or bitter!! They're happy little voting citizens looking forward to the future with nothing except hope and glee and industry" is just spewing total crap. If people felt that way, they wouldn't be wanting ANY kind of change.
In summary: Senator Obama? I don't want an apology from you. You're speaking for me, and millions of others. I want you to win and help to FIX this.
* - Since when is "bitter" an insult? Is this some new kind of slur of which I am unaware??
