The movie,
Toys, starts out with a "singing Christmas tree" that is similar to the one seen below. The song being sung is lovely. In fact, most of the songs in the show are great. That is why the
soundtrack from "Toys" is on my Christmas wish list.

Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. We have friends and relatives of different faiths (or lack of same), so we try to be very ecumenical. That's part of the reason for
my last diary, but this diary is all about Christmas...with lots of links. This first link has a short history of
Christmas carols with a picture of another singing Christmas tree.
The following is a list of several sites with Christmas music. Most of it is available for download:
* A collection of Christian artists' songs. (Starts up with music playing.)
* Songs from Feels Like Christmas.com are among the "free stuff" at the site.
* Blogging about the "War on Christmas" gives this writer a reason to share three songs.
* A lively rendition of Feliz Navidad is one song on this site. (Starts up with music playing.)
* This site is good for those who like harp music.
* A cute little "singing Christmas tree". It has lyrics with the music. You can do your own singing!
* A History of Christmas songs and a quiz.
* A large selection of Midi files of Christmas songs.
For those of us who tend to be a little perverse, here are a few "less traditional" songs:
* A cute country song, "Damn it, I'm Vixen".
* A collection of song parodies, some of which are for Christmas.
* Season's Greetings from Frogland, including sample audios from "A Froggy Christmas."
* One song, "Happy RxMas & a Whole Lotta Love" on a site with political songs.
The incomparable Mae West!
I can think of no better ending than to give you a gift of a song, with a little help from Mae West. Her rendition of "With Love From Me to You" is great. Use the following link to save the mp3, or scroll `way down on the site where I found it for a listen. However be warned, it has some really strange songs, and some of questionable taste.
