Is the LA Times Dropping Robert Scheer's Column? Tell the Times NO!

Once again, Scheer has shown why he is such a critical voice.  In today's column, Lying with Intelligence, we writes of DITSUM No. 044-02.  Here we have yet another smoking gun demonstrating impeachable offenses.

Rumor has it that the Los Angeles Times is going to dump columnist Robert Scheer.

Robert Scheer is one of the most read proponents of our ideals.  He is one of the few voices in the mainstream media who has supported the impeachment of Bush.  Losing his liberal viewpoint from the Los Angeles Times would be a great setback for all liberals and for balanced media.

Today's column is already the eight most e-mailed article on the Times web pages.  Who knew about DITSUM No. 044-02, and when did they know it?  If it can be shown that Bush knew about it, or even that acted with "reckless disregard of whether a statement is true," and if Bush withheld this material information from Congress while lying in his State of the Union speech to Congress, then Bush violated 18 U.S.C. 1001.  If lying about sex is an impeachable offense, lying about national security most certainly is.
