How about we look at the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize as not just an award to President Obama, but as an award to the progressive movement in the United States in whole.
That is, in recognition of how so many of you worked so hard to get President Obama elected and in so doing, completely changed the negative and regressive direction the US was heading. You all deserve to celebrate.
It can be argued that this isn't just an award to one man, but an award to the many who helped put him there.
Now everyone form a circle, reach out with your right hands and pat each other on the back. Job well f**kin' done.
From this, we should develop a better sense of cohesion. We should use it as a point of focus, in times of doubt, to continue to work on. Driving the dialog in an ever progressive direction.
Something to think about, and THANK ALL OF YOU. You all deserve a piece of this prize.
