While the 1% of the US population that actually follows the US men's national team is excited about this, we do temper our celebration with the fact that we did it at the expense of Honduras.
The Honduras national team helped the "Catrachos" forget about their problems for a couple hours.
And we had to go & ruin their party.
Yes, I realize that soccer, especially not US soccer, isn't exactly the stuff of important diaries. But this blogger has more information on why this important. And why we couldn't see the game on TV.....
