one bite at a time’s quilt, pootie approved
What is a “love catcher” community quilt? It is a quilt containing messages, written in archival ink on muslin, and colorful, pictorial fabrics sent by our online community to someone who needs to know we care. Tonight, we are collecting supportive, uplifting messages for rserven who has been dangerously and very painfully ill with a gallbladder infection and complications. Let us surround her with love and lend her energy to regain her health quickly. To include a message for her, write it in a message below – I’ll inscribe it on the quilt. To help cover the costs of materials and a bit of my time, please use this PayPal link.
I figure about $4 per message with a minimum of 44 messages for simple throws. I estimate $5 per message for a fancier design with more piecing (such as Kitsap River's quilt) -- or for a larger quilt (such as one bite at a time's). If you would prefer to contribute by check, there is no problem. Email me!
